▶ Answer & Explanation

Correct answer: B. 1 and 2

Bills pending in the Lok Sabha generally lapse upon dissolution. However, if a bill has been passed by one House but is still pending in the other, it does not lapse. Also, a bill that has been communicated to the other House but is still pending does not lapse. Bills that have reached the stage of Presidential assent, or bills on which a joint sitting has been summoned, do not lapse on dissolution.
